For the first time the International Fleet Review team and Imagination Australia have released images that give an impression of what the pyrotechnics and light show will look like.

Around 30 members of the Royal Australian Navy’s International Fleet Review Sydney 2013 (IFR) project team, led by Captain Nick Bramwell, Director IFR, attended the IFR Table Top Risk Exercise on 15 July hosted by the NSW Government Department of Premier and Cabinet.

The Royal Australian Navy has tested its new Three Pound Saluting Gun Battery at the Garden Island Naval Base, in readiness for October’s International Fleet Review, which commemorates the arrival of Navy’s first fleet in Sydney Harbour in 1913.

With ten weeks to go until the commencement of the Royal Australian Navy’s International Fleet Review (IFR) Sydney 2013, two more ships have been announced and a redesigned IFR website has been launched.

The N9-3102 Iroquois 894 helicopter is removed from its pole at the entrance to Nowra for refurbishment leading up to the International Fleet Review.

A piece of Navy’s Fleet Air Arm history recently took to the skies again over Nowra. Iroquois 894, Serial N9-3102, which marks the gateway to Nowra outside the Shoalhaven Tourist Information Centre, was lifted off its mount by volunteers from the Fleet Air Arm Museum in preparation for the upcoming International Fleet Review.
