While working in Defence is a rewarding career, the work can place stress on the lives of its members, so it is fitting that the series of Australian Defence Force Mental Health Days held around Australia in October was marked with the theme of ‘Taking Action’.

HMAS Stirling was the setting for the latest Defence Acknowledgement of Country ceremony recently when a plaque honouring the traditional custodians of the land was unveiled at the base gangway.

While in the Philippines for a recent port visit, Commanding Officer HMAS Sirius, Commander Darren Grogan, Australian Defence Attaché to the Philippines Colonel Bruce Murray and Commanding Officer HMAS Arunta Commander Cameron Steil were pleased to host members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and distinguished guests onboard Arunta for an official reception.
