HMAS Gascoyne is working with the United States Navy to retrieve four unexploded bombs from the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, dropped by USN Harrier aircraft in the lead up to Exercise TALISMAN SABRE on 16 July 2013.

HMAS Gascoyne recently departed Sydney for a South West Pacific Deployment and the ship’s company have wasted no time in making the most of their time at sea. The ship will be visiting Port Vila in Vanuatu, Nuku’alofa in Tonga and Noumea in New Caledonia during July and August.
