Leading Seaman Electronics Technician Gerard Reeves dazzles the opposition with his fancy footwork during a friendly football game against the Malaysian Navy during a visit to Kemaman, Malaysia.

One month into their North East Asian deployment HMA Ships Arunta and Sirius joined forces to take on the Royal Malaysian Navy in a friendly game of soccer during a port visit to Kemaman. It was a hotly contested game with both teams demonstrating a high level of competitiveness however it was the Malaysians who came out on top winning 3-1.

Lieutenant Commander Peter Russell and Leading Seaman Daniel Taylor present a $2000 donation from HMAS Sirius to Susan Anderson from Beyond Blue.

HMAS Sirius hosted a representative from Beyond Blue and the mental health staff from HMAS Stirling onboard in April, to donate a fundraising cheque for $2000 dollars, share a BBQ and have a general meet and greet.

The Royal Australian Navy's Fleet Base West based operational tanker, HMAS Sirius, entered Sydney Harbour this week as part of a visit to Garden Island on the east coast.

Complementing the Government’s border protection operations, HMAS Sirius has concluded a patrol through the North West Shelf Oil and Gas Fields. This patrol, known as Exercise RED RAPTOR, was designed to provide an overt security presence through the critical national infrastructure of the Australia’s North West Shelf.
