The strength of French and Australian defence cooperation was showcased recently when Royal Australian Navy ship HMAS Parramatta and Marine Nationale ship FNS La Moqueuse sailed into Sydney Harbour in company.

HMAS Melbourne has completed a visit to the Chinese port of Zhanjiang and conducted a combined passage exercise with the PLA-N Ship, Xianning.

Royal Australian Navy frigate HMAS Ballarat has completed a passage exercise with Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, Royal Canadian Navy and United States Navy ships during her South East Asia deployment.
