The ship’s company of HMAS Toowoomba has been stretched and tested over the past six weeks as the warship was put through a Work-Up and Unit Readiness Evaluation (URE) in the West Australian Exercise Area.

HMAS Arunta fires the 5-inch gun for the first time in three years, as part of her Sea Qualification Trials.

HMAS Arunta recently dusted off the mount, tested the sensor systems and did final voice procedures prior to firing their 5-inch gun for the first time in three years during sea qualification trials in the West Australian Exercise Area.
