Like many across Australia this Christmas, Jaimylee Hutchison will be preparing lunch for a festive celebration. But instead of cooking at home, Jaimylee will be in the galley of a Navy Patrol Boat deployed in Australia's northern waters.

First lines are passed as HMAS Huon prepares to berth alongside HMAS Waterhen, returning home after four months deployed assisting Operation RESOLUTE in Australia's north.

In September, just in time to participate in the International Fleet Review, HMAS Huon returned from four months on deployment, including a 12-week stint on Operation RESOLUTE.

The ship's company of HMAS Bathurst, crewed by Aware Three, line the deck of the Armidale Class Patrol Boat for a photo opportunity, before the start of the Bathurst 1000 race.

The crew of HMAS Bathurst were able to take a break from patrolling the line at Christmas Island for Operation RESOLUTE recently so they could enjoy the Bathurst 1000 race.

ATTACK ONE personnel from HMAS Albany proceed in rigid hull inflatable boats to a simulated Suspected Irregular Entry Vessel (SIEV) during their Mission Readiness Evaluation by Sea Training Unit - Minor War Vessel.

The Armidale Class Patrol Boat crew ATTACK ONE has been deemed mission ready for Operation RESOLUTE following two weeks of training by Sea Training Unit – Minor War Vessels and a final assessment by the senior assessor Commodore Warfare.
