Family and friends come together to mark the ninth anniversary of the loss of nine ADF personnel who lost their lives when Sea King Shark 02 crashed during a humanitarian support mission on the Indonesian island of Nias in April 2005.

A memorial rededication service held at HMAS Albatross today marked the ninth anniversary of the loss of the Sea King helicopter ‘Shark 02’, which crashed in 2005 while supporting a humanitarian support mission on the Indonesian island of Nias. Nine Australian Defence Force personnel were killed in the crash.

A memorial church service was held at HMAS Creswell on Sunday 9 February 2014, for over 100 families and survivors of the tragic collision on 10 February 1964 between HMAS Voyager (II) and HMAS Melbourne (II) which resulted in the loss of 82 lives.

Representing the Royal Australian Navy Fleet Commander, Captain Guy Holthouse RAN, lays a wreath to commemorate the loss of HMAS Sydney (II), during a ceremony held at Martin Place, Sydney.

A memorial and wreath laying service was held by the HMAS Sydney Association at the Cenotaph at Martin Place on 19 November 2013 to mark the 72nd anniversary of the sinking of HMAS Sydney (II).

Personnel from HMAS Choules conducted a memorial service at a cemetery on Manus Island to remember Australians who died there. The ceremony was conducted on 24 October 2013 by the ship's Chaplain.

HMAS Ballarat held a moving memorial service to commemorate the crew of HMAS Perth (I) while passing through the Sunda Strait yesterday.
