HMAS Anzac departed Fleet Base East in Sydney for the first time in 2017 in style - in formation with HMA Ships Melbourne and Parramatta.

The inaugural ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting-Plus (ADMM-Plus) Maritime Security Field Training Exercise commenced yesterday in and around Jervis Bay and the East Australian Exercise Area.

The Officer of the Watch onboard HMAS Perth keeps a watchful eye as HMAS Melbourne comes astern in preparation for a tow exercise in the East Australian Exercise Area, Jervis Bay.

HMAS Perth is a little way from her home port of Fleet Base West as she works hard in the East Australian Exercise Area, near Jervis Bay to prepare for a Unit Readiness Evaluation where she will be tested on Warfare, Seamanship, Emergency Procedures and much more in preparation for a busy six months of exercises.

Ship's company show the Defence Force Remuneration Tribunal team some of the hard work involved with being at sea whilst conducting an Air Warfare Serial with the firing of the 5-inch gun in the Eastern Australian Exercise Area.

For the past five weeks HMAS Melbourne has conducted Unit Readiness (UR) level collective training in the East Area Exercise Area including a number of evaluations supervised by Sea Training Group (STG).
