Over 118 kilograms of heroin with a street value of AUD $114 million was confisicated by HMAS Melbourne while on operations in the Middle East region. These drugs were discovered onboard a fishing vessel intercepted by HMAS Melbourne in the Indian Ocean. HMAS Melbourne personnel have completed a fourth successful drug seizure after seizing more than 100 kilograms of heroin from a fishing vessel in the Indian Ocean.
