Australia has assumed command of Combined Task Force 150 (CTF 150) as part of Operation MANITOU in the Middle East Region after a Transition of Authority from the Pakistan Navy.

Royal Australian Navy sailor Leading Seaman Maritime Logistics - Personnel Operations Lisa Nevell is working with the Combined Maritime Forces Maritime Operations Support Group based at the Naval Support Activity is Manama, Bahrain.

Leading Seaman Lisa Nevell made it to the wedding, but her honeymoon is on hold while she contributes to Australia's fight against terrorism.

In July, HMAS Newcastle completed an intensive counter-terrorism focused operation in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden with the multi-national Combined Task Force 150.
