Australia’s newest warship, HMAS Brisbane, arrived home to family and friends in Sydney yesterday, following her first overseas deployment, drawing to a close the return of ten Royal Australian Navy warships from deployments across South East Asia, the Pacific and the United States.

Two Royal Australian Navy Minehunters, HMAS Ships Diamantina and Gascoyne, have returned home just in time for Christmas, following a successful overseas deployment that saw them travel a record distance.

Three Royal Australian Navy warships have returned to Sydney following a three month deployment through East Asia. HMA Ships Hobart, Stuart and Parramatta were the lead element of a Task Group of eleven vessels deployed to the region since September.
Following a busy 12 months for HMAS Sirius, the Royal Australian Navy’s west coast-based replenishment ship returned to her home port of Fleet Base West on Sunday, to the smiling faces of family and friends.
