HMAS Canberra recently took time out of FCP20 to emulate conditions encountered Operation BUSHFIRE ASSIST 19-20, and build on lessons learnt through conducting a Defence Assistance to Civil Communities exercise.

The Australian Defence Force has assisted the Australian Maritime Safety Authority with a medical evacuation off the coast of Western Australia.
