Three technical sailors arrived at the workshop of V8 Supercar Team Prodrive Racing Australia this week for the fifth rotation of the highly successful Navy Industry Outplacement Program.

Last week saw the beginning of the third year of the very successful Ford Performance Racing Industry Outplacement Program. The objective of the outplacement program is to recognise and develop the technical skills of high performing sailors in a cutting edge and high pressure environment.

Motor sport aficionados are used to seeing fast cars and even faster aircraft at the SKYCITY Triple Crown V8 Supercars event in Darwin, but this year, one of the Navy's Seahawk helicopters has taken centre stage at the premier motor sport event.
