Royal Australian Navy Anzac-class frigate, HMAS Stuart, joined the Republic of Singapore frigate, RSS Tenacious, in waters off Singapore for a four-day maritime exercise in the first week of October.

Royal Australian Navy Maritime Warfare Officer Lieutenant Commander Rose Apikotoa was recently interviewed at Fleet Base East and onboard the Anzac class Frigate HMAS Stuart as part of an initiative of the University of Western Sydney called Pasifika Achievement To Higher Education (PATHE).

The Royal Australian Navy Anzac Class Frigate HMAS Stuart is observed through periscope on board the RAN Collins Class Submarine HMAS Sheean during a routine transit and training exercise off Christmas Island.

The Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class Submarine HMAS Sheean has taken advantage of a mid-ocean encounter, by getting in some last minute practice at anti-submarine warfare on the way to Singapore.

Officers and Sailors of HMAS Stuart have gathered on the ship’s flight deck for a memorial service to remember the 725 lives lost in a battle on 19 November 1941.

As dawn was breaking on Friday 25 April, the crew from HMAS Stuart formed up on the ship's flight deck for an Anzac Day Service.

Able Seaman Rhys O'Neill, a member of HMAS Stuart's ship's company, presents representatives Mr Alex Daoust and Ms Deearn Hughes from the Red Kite charity with a cheque onboard HMAS Stuart.

The Ship’s Company of HMAS Stuart recently presented a donation to the charity ‘Red Kite’. The ship shares a longstanding relationship with Red Kite, a charity providing financial support to cancer sufferers aged 0-24 years and their families.

Last Friday HMAS Stuart hosted the Chief of Navy, Vice Admiral Griggs and presented him with a donation for the Navy’s charity, Keeping Watch.
