HMAS Sirius conducts a duel Replenishment at Sea with HMA Ships Arunta and Stuart as they sail home to Australia across the Java Sea, after completing a North East Asia Deployment.

Following a passage exercise with Vietnamese People’s Navy ship HQ-275, HMAS Sirius rendezvoused with HMA Ships Arunta and Stuart to reform Task Group 627.3 for the latter part of their Asian deployments.

Australia’s relationship with Indonesia has been highlighted this week by a visit to the port city of Surabaya, Indonesia, by the Anzac frigate HMAS Arunta and replenishment ship HMAS Sirius. The ships are participating in Exercise NEW HORIZON - the most important maritime activity of its kind between the Tentara Nasional Indonesia-Angkatan Laut (TNI-AL), or Indonesian Navy, and the Royal Australian Navy.

HMA Ships Arunta and Stuart recently participated in a Rugby Union tournament in the port of Busan, the Republic of South Korea, against a local ex-pats team, the Busan Bandits. The port visit was part of Stuart's and Arunta's North East Asia Deployment 2015.
