The Indo-Pacific Endeavour 2018 Joint Task Group has welcomed another nation aboard for the beginning of the activity, with the inclusion of four Vanuatu Police Force (VPF) officers on on June 2.

A Joint Task Group of Royal Australian Navy ships and embarked soldiers and marines has set sail from Townsville, bound for a major maritime activity to build regional security and stability in the South Pacific.

HMAS Melbourne departs Sydney Harbour for the last time in seven months as she heads off on Indo-Pacific Endeavour and Exercise RIMPAC.

HMAS Melbourne has departed her home port of Fleet Base East bound for a seven month deployment to the South West Pacific and North East Asia. Melbourne's deployment will include participation in the second iteration of Indo-Pacific Endeavour, Exercise KAKADU in Australia's north and a variety of port visits and community engagement in the North East Asian region.

HMAS Adelaide is returned to her regular berth after a period of maintenance within Captain Cook Graving Dock, Fleet Base East, Sydney, NSW.

HMAS Adelaide is preparing to embark on its longest deployment this year – a three month journey across the South Pacific to Hawaii and back called Indo-Pacific Endeavour 2018 (IPE18). The deployment represents the second iteration of the Indo-Pacific Endeavour activity in which Adelaide has been the flagship.
