Air Vice-Marshal Tracy Smart, AO, handing over command of Joint Health Command to the incoming Commander Joint Health and Surgeon General of the Australian Defence Force, Rear Admiral Sarah Sharkey, RAN, CSC, during a parade at Campbell Park Offices, Canberra.

The dual role of Surgeon General of the Australian Defence Force and Commander Joint Health was formally handed over to Rear Admiral Sarah Sharkey from Air Vice-Marshal Tracy Smart on 4 December.

Captain Terry Morrison has joined HMAS Canberra as her fourth Commanding Officer, having previously served as Director Destroyers - a job which had him in charge of the Hobart Class project.

Vice Admiral Tim Barrett, AO, CSC, RAN handed over command of the Royal Australian Navy to Vice Admiral Michael Noonan, AO, RAN during a ceremonial parade at Blamey Square at Russell in Canberra.

Vice Admiral Tim Barrett has formally ended his term as Chief of Navy, following a handover ceremony at Blamey Square in Canberra. VADM Barrett ended his Permanent Navy career in style, with an honour guard and fly past in his honour.
