It was 1986 when young a Aaron Beinke first thought of joining the Navy; he joined the Royal Australian Navy as a Marine Technician and has never looked back.

Navy's sail training ship STS Young Endeavour has crossed the Atlantic Ocean for the first time in more than twenty years, arriving in Europe to participate in the Centenary of Anzac Commemorations and the International Tall Ship Races.

Camp Quality children cheer as a Bell 429 helicopter from 723 Squadron sits in the background from HMAS Albatroos after the kids had opportunity to meet the crew and inspect the helicopter.

723 Squadron’s Able Seaman Jye Alexander says the simple act of putting his hand up to volunteer to show a group of children around a Navy helicopter was a life-changing one.

Able Seaman Medic Bonnieville Dromgool is seen inside the sickbay onboard HMAS Tobruk during Operation Pacific Assist 2015.

An Able Seaman aboard HMAS Tobruk who took part in Operation PACIFIC ASSIST 2015 was the second member of her family to deploy on a humanitarian assistance and disaster relief task in the ship.

Mark Butler has led a rich and varied life since leaving Kingston High School in Blackmans Bay, Tasmania; but through it all, the Royal Australian Navy was always in the back of his mind as a potential career path.

Former Head Navy Capability, Rear Admiral Mark Campbell, wanted to avoid too much fuss and formality around his retirement, but there were a few significant people and places he particularly wanted to revisit prior to leaving the Royal Australian Navy after 36 years service.

Lieutenant Commander Benjamin Crowther and Commander Ian Young are all smiles after completing the gruelling 150km ultra marathon.

Two Navy officers braved blisters, cramps, extreme fatigue and unfamiliar terrain to complete the 150km Anzac Ultra Marathon in under 40 hours over 10-11 April on Canberra's Centenary Trail.
