HMAS Anzac has joined HMAS Arunta as the second Anzac Class Frigate to undergo the Anzac Midlife Capability Assurance Program upgrade, representing a major milestone in the operational life of Navy’s Anzac Class Frigates.

When the Anzac Class frigate HMAS Anzac returned recently from a deployment to South East Asia one of the ship's first tasks was to support the filming of a video to promote the upcoming Invictus Games to be held in Sydney in October 2018.

Welcome back and BZ to HMAS Anzac - home today after a 3 month deployment to South East Asia.

Helicopter frigate HMAS Anzac has returned to Fleet Base East after a three month South East Asia Deployment as part of a three ship Task Unit with HMA Ships Success and Toowoomba. Since departing Fleet Base East in March, Anzac has visited seven ports in six nations, participated in two international exercises, conducted passage exercises with French, Royal Thai and Philippines navies and travelled a total of 13,000 nautical miles.
