Recruits from the Navy Indigenous Development Program took part in The Great Northern Clean Up at Holloways Beach, Qld, joining forces with the local community walking the five kilometre stretch along streets, parks, scrub and muddy marshes.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the adoption of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325, a landmark moment in the recognition of the gender impact of conflict and the need to address the rights of women and girls and conflict prevention, resolution and peacebuilding.

Participants in the HMAS Stirling Annual Causeway Classic fun run at the start of the 6.4 km run along the Garden Island causeway. (This event was held in accordance with WA State Govt regulations for public gatherings).

For the last 13 years HMAS Stirling been host to the Defence Bank Causeway Classic, a 6.7km fun run from the Pass Office at the Causeway entrance, over the low and high-level bridges and culminating at the sports pavilion.

Three warships and more than 150 personnel have completed two weeks of realistic training at sea and ashore under the command and control of Navy’s Mine Warfare and Clearance Diving Task Group, as part of Exercise CUTTLEFISH 2020.

A Republic of Singapore Air Force CH-47 Chinook helicopter lands onboard HMAS Adelaide during Exercise SEA WADER 2020, off the coast of Townsville, Queensland.

HMAS Adelaide has provided a platform for the Republic of Singapore Air Force CH-47 helicopter crews to qualify and land on the RAN’s largest vessels, HMA Ships Adelaide and Canberra.
