The Navy Surfriders Association held its September surfing event at Werri Beach in New South Wales, as part of its commitment to continue surfing and competing every month leading in to the national Inter-Service championships.

More than 84,000 people participated in the City2Surf race in Sydney in August, resulting in a sell-out crowd for the organisers of the annual running event.

The Navy Tridents were too strong for Fire and Rescue New South Wales in the annual Community Cup women’s rugby league game, played in the lead-up to the North Sydney Bears games at North Sydney Oval on 25 August.

The Navy men’s ‘A’ team has kept its cool and taken out the Inter-service Cross Country Ski Relay at Mount Hotham, Victoria, part of the annual Inter-service Nordic Skiing and Biathlon Championships.
