Legacy Week is a time when Legacy sells its iconic badges and other merchandise to raise funds for the vital work it does for families of veterans. Legacy Week is always the first week of September and has been held since World War II.

Officers and sailors from HMAS Harman will be out in force from tomorrow selling Legacy bears and badges to raise funds to help the families of deceased and incapacitated veterans.

Legacy Week is a national appeal to raise awareness and funds for the families of incapacitated or deceased Australian Defence Force veterans, and Navy officers and sailors will take to the streets, shopping centres and subway stations this week to peddle their wares in support of Legacy.

Following six months on the road, 4358 kilometres, and nine pairs of joggers, Chief Petty Officer Medic Tristan Harris has successfully trekked across Australia.
