SMN Dylan Holland (competitor number 87) works his way through the field in the Australian Cross-Country Championships held at south east Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

Amongst the 1200 athletes who competed in the Australian Cross-Country Championships at Maleny Golf Club on the Sunshine Coast in late August was HMAS Albatross Gap Year participant SMN Dylan Holland.

Seaman* Electronic Technician Bradley Stevens coming over the line fist in the Open Male division of the Cross County run held at HMAS Cerberus, Victoria.

The 2015 HMAS Cerberus Cross Country Championships were held on 18 March involving more than 650 Defence members. Cerberus is Navy’s largest tri-service training establishment, and the annual event lets Defence members from all three services and specialisations pit their fitness against their colleagues in fun way while keeping up the long held tradition of competing for the Grey Smith Cup.

Ready set run, the start line of the Petras Memorial Trophy Cross Country race at HMAS Coonawarra, Darwin.

HMAS Coonawarra has reinvigorated the Petras Memorial Trophy Cross Country race after a four year hiatus. Over 70 personnel posted to HMAS Coonawarra, Larrakeyah Barracks and various patrol boats took part in this year's hilly course.
