The Royal Australian Navy would like to congratulate the following personnel who were awarded honours by the Governor-General, Her Excellency the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, during a series of Investiture Ceremonies held at Government House, Canberra, last week:

Appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in the Military Division (AM)

For Exceptional Service as a Joint Operational Planner at Headquarters Joint Operations Command in support of operations in Afghanistan from January 2007 to December 2012.

Furthermore, the Royal Australian Navy extends its congratulations to Lieutenant Commander Peter McNay RAN (Retired) who received the Medal of the Order of Australia in the General Division for his service to the veteran community.
