Personnel from HMAS Stirling don't usually undertake work to the sounds of revving engines - but on 3 October, to assist with Team Navy's support to the 2019 season, personnel were invited to attend the launch.

Navy has a branding alliance with Red Hot Racing through the Team Navy concept.

Team Navy embraces Australian sporting champions who exemplify the five core values of the Royal Australian Navy – Honour, Honesty, Courage, Integrity and Loyalty.

The Red Hot Racing team’s new car #50 and livery were unveiled against the backdrop of HMAS Ballarat.

The partnership between one of Australia’s accomplished Late Model racing teams and Team Navy offers a perfect synergy, as both thrive and succeed as a result of youthful, dynamic and driven team members.

Team driver Veronica McCann was excited by the partnership and appreciated the opportunity meet Officers and Sailors of HMAS Ballarat.

“It’s great to have the opportunity to get up close with the personnel from Navy through this partnership and we look forward to working closely with the Navy in the years to come.” Veronica said.

Veronica had time to speak with sailors about the different roles they perform within the Navy and service personnel were able to compare their experiences with another high performance team.
