During their Operation MANITOU deployment, personnel from Maritime Operations Support Group and Combined Task Force 150 visited the US Navy Patrol Craft USS Firebolt for a tour.

The Commander of Combined Task Force 150 visited HMAS Success during the ship’s recent self-maintenance period at the half way point of its Operation MANITOU deployment in the Middle East region.

Able Seaman Cryptologic Linguist Jovanne Damiao, with Lizbeth and daughter Izabella, before departing on HMAS Newcastle, for the Middle Eastern region.

HMAS Newcastle was farewelled from Garden Island, Sydney on 1 April, setting course for the Middle East Region where she will spend six months deployed as part of Operation MANITOU.

As HMAS Tobruk steams towards the cyclone ravaged islands of Vanuatu, ship's company and embarked forces are working hard to make sure they are ready to deliver assistance.

A replenishment at sea between Royal Navy ship, HMS Kent, and HMAS Success in the North Arabian Sea on 2 March provided an opportunity for each ship’s Executive Officer to work closely with a ship from their previous navies.

HMAS Success's Seahawk 'ODIN' lends a hand to United States Ships Joshua Humphries (top) and Oscar Austin to conduct a vertical replenishment while in the Middle East Region as part of Operation MANITOU.

HMAS Success has again proven her flexibility by providing short notice logistical help to a United States 6th Fleet Task Force operating off the east coast of Africa.
