Officers and sailors from HMAS Cairns took to kayaks to help clear Cairns waterways from rubbish during the Great Northern Cleanup.

Navy initiative and community spirit was on display in Far North Queensland as personnel from HMAS Cairns took to the water in kayaks to contribute to the ‘Great Northern Clean Up’, a preservation program for the regional environment.

The 2018 Defence Red Cross Blood Challenge is in full swing, with a new record breaking day for plasma donations set in the NSW/ACT area.
