Navies gather to remember the Battle of Sydney

A quiet and solemn ceremony was recently held at HMAS Kuttabul to commemorate and honour the lives lost in May 1942, when Japanese midget submarines launched an attack in Sydney Harbour.

    For the past 40 years, seamstress Feliza 'Feli' Byrne has ensured thousands of Navy women and men could wear their uniform with pride, confident it met dress regulations and would not fall apart under pressure.
