An MH-60R Seahawk Helicopter from 816 Squadron lands on HMAS Hobart's flight deck during a flight deck trial alongside Fleet Base East, Garden Island, Sydney.

It was a marriage made in...Fleet Base East recently, when Navy’s most sophisticated helicopter partnered with Navy’s most potent and capable warship.

Chief Petty Officer Combat Systems Manager Brenden Smart followed his older brother into the Navy is now one of the seasoned veterans helping bring Navy’s newest ship into service.
