Sailors from HMAS Cerberus saw seagoing vessels in a very different light when they attended the 2013 Melbourne International Tall Ships Festival between 6-15 September.

Commanding Officer HMAS Sydney, CMDR Brinckmann is presented with a gift from the Training Commander of KRI Dewaruchi, LTCDR Arief, with the ships' companies of both vessels in the background.

Recently, 80 personnel, including 68 cadets and staff, from the Indonesian Sail Training Ship KRI Dewaruci visited HMAS Sydney, while both ships were berthed alongside Victoria Quay in Fremantle.

The Royal Australian Navy is searching for descendants of the sailors and officers who sailed into Sydney Harbour on 4 October 1913 aboard the seven ships of the original Royal Australian Navy fleet.
