LS King joined Navy as a medic in 2006 and transferred to the reserves in 2013. She signed on again to join Young Endeavour’s world voyage as she believes it will be the experience of a lifetime.

Australia’s national Sail Training Ship Young Endeavour arrived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil recently, completing an epic 55 day voyage across the Pacific Ocean and around Cape Horn.

HMAS Tobruk's embarked MRH90 helicopter departs the ship to deliver care packages to remote parts of Vanuatu during Operation Pacific Assist 2015.

HMAS Tobruk is distributing humanitarian supplies by MRH-90 Taipan helicopter and amphibious craft to the southern Vanuatu island of Erromango and Tanna.

Royal Australian Navy veterans from the Operation SLIPPER campaign march down Barrack Street in the City of Perth during the parade to recognise the service of all personnel who served in Afghanistan and the Middle East between 2001 and 2014.

Current and former Australian Defence Force veterans along with Australian Public Servants, the Australian Federal Police and other Government agency personnel who served on Operation SLIPPER had their achievements honoured in a commemorative parade on 21 March.

The ship’s company of HMAS Diamantina, which is currently deployed in support of Operation RESOLUTE, is undertaking a challenge to raise funds and increase public awareness for the Royal Flying Doctor Service Queensland.

Comedians Anthony

Comedians Anthony "Lehmo" Lehmann (right) and Mick Molloy perform for personnel serving with Australia's Air Task Group deployed to the Middle East Region. The tour also featured Melbourne band 28 Days.

Comedians Mick Molloy and Anthony 'Lehmo' Lehmann brought the laughs, while rock band 28 Days belted out the tunes, during a Forces Entertainment tour across the Middle East recently.

Leaving home to join the Navy at just 18 years of age, Georgia Le Prou is now an Able Seaman serving in HMAS Success, which is currently deployed in the Middle East Region for six months as part of Operation MANITOU.
