A MRH-90 Taipan helicopter from HMAS Adelaide conducts deck landings aboard Republic of Singapore Navy ship RSS Supreme off the coast of Singapore, during Indo Pacific Endeavour 2017.

As a MRH-90 helicopter from HMAS Adelaide touched down in a deck landing practice on the flight deck of RSS Supreme, Australia’s interoperability with the Singapore Armed Forces moved to a new level.

Lietenant Colonel Dr. Mohamed Zaki Mokhtar of the Malaysian Armed Forces with Lieutenant Commander Richard Classon, in the Intensive Care Unit of HMAS Adelaide during a visit while the ship is alongside Port Klang, Malaysia, for Indo pacific Endeavour 2017.

The recent visit to Malaysia by ships from an Australian task group provided an opportunity for medical teams from each country to share stories and talk techniques.

The hard working volunteers from Aussie Hero Quilts have wowed HMAS Newcastle’s crew with their hand-made quilts and laundry bags – literally covering the ship from bow to stern.

Following an extensive patrol off the coast of Africa in the South Indian Ocean while on Operation MANITOU, the crew of HMAS Newcastle recently conducted a logistics and respite visit in Port Victoria, Seychelles.

HMAS Newcastle may have been on operations but the chefs on board have worked tirelessly throughout the deployment with the morale and welfare of the ship’s company in mind.
