More than 99 years after it was scuttled in the First World War, a project to record, preserve and tell the story of the wreck of Australian submarine AE2, laying at the bottom of Turkey’s Sea of Marmara, is underway.

HMAS Newcastle is the first Adelaide Class Frigate and the second Royal Australian Navy ship to be fitted with new equipment specifically designed to interface with the night vision equipment worn by crews of Navy helicopters.

Australian Defence Force personnel deployed to Juba in South Sudan, as part of Operation ASLAN have used their spare time when not working with the United Nations to help out and cheer up children at two local orphanages.
