HMAS Melbourne preparing to depart the dry dock at Fleet Base East, Garden Island, Sydney.

With the smell of bacon and eggs in the air and water slowly filling the dry dock, sailors from HMAS Sirius engineered a perfect opportunity to snatch a crispy bacon and egg roll from HMAS Melbourne’s flight deck breakfast BBQ. Enabling their quest was the positioning of the two ships in the dock, stern to stern.

United States Navy Midshipman Hayden Marsh and Ciara Roseberry take in sea life during their exchange posting opportunity onboard HMAS Parramatta.

For three weeks in July and August, the Royal Australian Navy Anzac Class frigate HMAS Parramatta hosted two United States Navy Midshipmen as part of a foreign exchange program between Chief of Navy, and the Chief of Naval Operations, United States Navy.
