Benjamin Sime was decorated with a Medal for Gallantry by Her Exellency the Governor of New South Wales, Professor Marie Bashir AC,CVO, at a Ceremony at Government House in 2009.

The Australian International Airshow 2015 pays tribute to Anzac and the heroes of military aviation.  It is the major theme of the event and as such will be the first significant observance of the Gallipoli campaign in its centenary year.  The airshow features an emotional and moving tribute to our aviators from Gallipoli to the present day. During the Australian International Airshow, Navy Daily will highlight the significant contribution of naval aviators from the First World War to the present day.

It was their favoured wet weather rugby that saw the Australian Services Rugby Union Women’s team hit the ground running with a win in their first game of the Australian Rugby Union 7s competition played in Sydney on 7-8 March.

The Victorian section of the Navy's Lawn Bowls Team is celebrating success having won the RSL State Triples competition after intense qualifying rounds held over three weeks.
