HMAS Toowoomba comes onto station to conduct a Replenishment at Sea with HMAS Success while on Operation SOUTHERN INDIAN OCEAN in search of missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370.

As the search for MH370 enters a new phase, HMAS Toowoomba and MV Seahorse Standard have returned to their home port of Fleet Base West after completing their commitment to Operation SOUTHERN INDIAN OCEAN.

April marks the fifth anniversary of Navy’s cultural change journey under New Generation Navy (NGN). To mark this milestone, the Chief of Navy, Vice Admiral Ray Griggs, has recorded a video and launched a brochure to inform Navy people about what has been achieved since 2009.

Lieutenant Lauren Ruse was recently announced as the winner of the prestigious Queen’s Medal for her exemplary conduct, level of achievement and performance during S-70B-2 Operational Flying Training last year.

Wilfred ‘Bowie’ Bowie is currently serving as an Able Seaman Boatswains Mate onboard HMAS Darwin, deployed on Operation SLIPPER. Having grown up in Injinoo Queensland, Bowie wanted to find a job where he could be an example for his family and friends.
