Against the backdrop of Sydney Harbour, the ninth Royal Australian Navy Sea Power Conference was held this week, hosting visiting navy Chiefs, service representatives, academics and dignitaries from over 40 nations.

Residents of Albury-Wodonga had the privilege of being the first in Australia to see the extensive array of artefacts from the Australian War Memorial after the Spirit of Anzac Centenary Experience travelling exhibition was officially opened on 4 September.

A moving service was held recently at the Chapel of St Paul at HMAS Stirling, Garden Island, Western Australia, to commemorate the loss of the officers and sailors from HMAS AE1, 101 years ago.
