HMAS Harman's Executive Officer Lieutenant Commander Kristen Watts inspects the Royal Australian Navy Cadets during a formal parade.

HMAS Harman was a flurry of activity recently as 85 Australian Naval Cadets from around the country participated in a week of important training.

On 30 January the Navy Indigenous Performance Group 'Bungaree' was the centre of attention, performing a variety of dance routines at the official opening by Mosman Council of an exhibition to mark the 200th anniversary of the establishment of Bungaree's Farm at the Camouflage fuel tanks, Mosman, New South Wales.

Aviation Technician Avionics Able Seaman Vanessa Issom has recently returned to Australia after completing training for Navy’s MH-60R Seahawk Romeo helicopters in the United States.

The Australian International Airshow 2015 pays tribute to Anzac and the heroes of military aviation.  It is the major theme of the event and as such will be the first significant observance of the Gallipoli campaign in its centenary year.  The airshow features an emotional and moving tribute to our aviators from Gallipoli to the present day. During the Australian International Airshow, Navy Daily will highlight the significant contribution of naval aviators from the First World War to the present day.
