Members who have served 7 years or more will be eligible for interest-free loans of up to $7000 under a new initiative by the RAN’s Relief Trust Fund announced this month.

On 5 May 1998, a fire on HMAS Westralia (II) claimed the lives of four crew members. Leading Seaman Bradley Meek was one of the sailors who perished.
