NUSHIP Canberra’s team of electronic technicians have submitted their fire control system, built from scratch, for judging as part of the Fleet Base East regional Navy Engineering Challenge.

Chief Executive Officer of the Defence Materiel Organisation, Warren King, formally accepted the delivery of the first of two MRH90 helicopter simulators at the Army Aviation Training Centre in Oakey, Queensland.

At the end of their third Middle Eastern patrol, the crew of HMAS Newcastle visited the Jordanian port of Aqaba for a five-day respite visit.
