Six personnel serving at Anglesea Barracks, four of them Navy and two of them Army, participated in this year’s Movember campaign, helping to raise awareness of men’s health issues and funds to combat them.

Seven Royal Australian Navy personnel from HMAS Kuttabul supported the Starlight Children’s Foundation at Luna Park in Sydney last week, helping to brighten the lives of some very special children.

With the midway point of ‘Movember’ now behind them, 40 members of HMAS Waterhen are charging towards the finish line.

The HMAS Albatross Show‘n’Shine provides vehicle enthusiasts with a chance to show off their prized cars and bikes in an event which is focused on family fun and raising funds for two charities, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund and the Australian Leukodystrophy Support Group.

The Stonehaven Cup was originally presented to HMAS Albatross in 1929 by John Lawrence Baird, 1st Viscount Shoalhaven, GCMG, DSO, eighth Governor-General of Australia, for an annual competition between Albatross units to develop teamwork, camaraderie and athleticism amongst both Defence and civilian personnel.
