Navy's home to the MRH-90 helicopter, 808 Squadron, assembled for the traditional rowing ashore of the outgoing Commanding Officer as Commander Adrian Capner handed over the “trident of power” to Commander Michael Waddell recently.

There was no need of car or driver to transport Commodore Vince Di Pietro to his recent change of command ceremony at the home of Navy's Fleet Air Arm in Nowra.

Commanding Officer HMAS Cairns, Commander Carl Capper, RAN, awards Recruit George Gabey with his graduation certificate during the graduation ceremony for the Defence Indigenous Development Program at HMAS Cairns, Queensland.

Seventeen Recruits stood tall in front of friends and family on 16 December, at a ceremony to recognise their graduation from the fourth iteration of the Navy-led Defence Indigenous Development Program.

Members of the ship's company of HMAS Adelaide raise the Australian White Ensign up the ship's mast for the first time, during the Landing Helicopter Dock's Commisioning ceremony.

HMAS Adelaide, the second of two Landing Helicopter Docks (LHDs) built for the Royal Australian Navy, was commissioned into the Fleet today, alongside Garden Island, Sydney.
