Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand and the United Kingdom have completed Five Power Defence Arrangements exercise in international waters, off the coast of Malaysia as part of the longest standing multilateral arrangement in South East Asia.

The Australian Consul General Guangzhou, Mr Dominic Trindade, the CO, Commander David Landon, CSM, RAN, and a contingent from HMAS Ballarat are given a tour the People's Liberation Army-Navy Jiangkai II class frigate Huangshan by the CO, Captain Zhang Huiwu.

A musical welcome greeted HMAS Ballarat as she drew alongside Zhanjiang, China, the home of the People’s Liberation Army – Navy South Sea Fleet for a port visit.
