On a hot summer’s night in February, members of the ship’s company of Brisbane base HMAS Moreton took a 12 hour watch – relying on teamwork, endurance and resilience to get them through.

For the 38th year in a row, HMAS Penguin held the 'Gate to Gate Fun Run and Walk' in 2016 but for the second year 'running' used it to bring attention to family and domestic violence.

Under starter's orders 'they're off ' in the 2015 Bonshaw Cup.

The Bonshaw Cup is the second oldest running event in the Australian Capital Territory and was run again on 30 October at HMAS Harman. First contested in 1963, the 5km fun run/walk has progressed from an exclusive Navy event, to being one where the broader Defence community can now participate, promoting positive relationships.
