The Report on Abuse in Defence and the Report on Abuse at the Australian Defence Force Academy were both tabled in Parliament.

Today, two Defence Abuse Response Taskforce reports were tabled in Parliament - Report on Abuse in Defence, which provides an overview of the nature and extent of abuse in Defence detailed in complaints to the taskforce and the Report on Abuse at the Australian Defence Force Academy, which relates specifically to complaints of abuse at the Australian Defence Force Academy.

The ties between Australian Naval Cadets at Training Ship (TS) Canberra and Royal Australian Navy members continued to strengthen at a recent working bee in Queanbeyan’s Legacy Village.

With more than 1400 students, many of whom drawn from Canberra's Defence families, it was not surprising that Harrison School gave a big and warm welcome to personnel from HMAS Harman to their 5th Annual Fair recently.

HMAS Cerberus Recruit School staff cop a dunking from Recruits to raise money for Ocsober. In total, the Recruit School Dunkathon raised $1600 for the Life Education charity.

On 22 October, Recruit School gathered for education of a different kind to normal. The idea to run a 'dunkathon' to raise money and awareness for Ocsober received overwhelming support from staff and Recruits and passed on vital health education in a humorous way.

The HMAS Cerberus Navy Steam Club is putting smiles on the faces of children and families in need this Christmas. Along with the St Vincent De Paul Society, they’re collecting children's toys to brighten up the lives of underprivileged children.
