A quiet and solemn ceremony has been held at HMAS Kuttabul to remember the lives lost 77 years ago during World War Two, when Japanese midget submarines launched an attack in Sydney Harbour.

A quiet and solemn ceremony was recently held at HMAS Kuttabul to commemorate and honour the lives lost in May 1942, when Japanese midget submarines launched an attack in Sydney Harbour.

Personnel at HMAS Kuttabul have paused to remember the 76th anniversary of the Japanese midget submarine attack in Sydney Harbour, which claimed the lives of 27 service personnel in 1942.
