The Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) and Vanuatu Police Force (VPF) personnel aboard HMAS Adelaide have received an aerial view of the waters between Townsville and Fiji while aboard one of HMAS Adelaide’s embarked MRH-90 Taipan helicopters.

The RFMF officers, sailors and soldiers have been integrated into Adelaide’s ship’s company during her transit from Townsville to Fiji as part of Indo-Pacific Endeavour 2018 (IPE), while the VPF officers also spent time aboard HMAS Success.

More than 1230 Australian Defence Force personnel are deployed on Indo-Pacific Endeavour aboard HMA Ships Adelaide and Melbourne, which are visiting Fiji and Tonga, and HMA Ships Success and Toowoomba, which are visiting Vanuatu and Samoa, before continuing on to Exercise Rim of the Pacific in Hawaii.
