With great fanfare, more than 1,500 officers and sailors have lined the decks of HMAS Canberra in the Australian Fleet’s 2017 Ceremonial Divisions.
True to her motto of ‘To Serve and Provide’- HMAS Sirius sailed into her home port of Fleet Base West after almost four months at sea on 15 December, in time for well-earned Christmas break.

The Royal Australian Navy has marked the end of an era by handing over the last of its S‑70B-2 Seahawk "Bravo" helicopters to the Australian War Memorial for preservation in the national collection.
The S-70B-2 Bravo Seahawk and AS350BA Squirrel helicopters were formally retired from active service in the Royal Australian Navy at a ceremony today at HMAS Albatross.
