Pouring rain did not dampen the pride of all present when His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove, AK, MC (Retd) Governor General of Australia presented HMAS Success with the Royal Australian Navy’s most prestigious annual award for outstanding performance, the Gloucester Cup.

Fleet Whole Ship Coordinator, WO Peter Ritchie from Sea Training Group, reviews the Damage Control exercise in the Manoeuvring Deck onboard HMAS Success during the Ship's Work-Up period in the East Australian Exercise Area.

The crew of HMAS Success are hard at work conducting their Work-Up and Unit Readiness Evaluation in the East Australian Exercise Area after returning to sea late October following an extended refit.

HMAS Success sails past Sydney's iconic Fort Denison to conduct a Mariner Skills Evaluation for two weeks off the east coast of Australia.

HMAS Success returned to sea on 25 October and has commenced Sea Qualification Trials and a Unit Readiness workup package.

Commander Australian Fleet, Rear Admiral Tim Barrett, AM, CSC, RAN hosted a welcome reception for foreign navy ships visiting Sydney for the International Fleet Review 2013.

On the evening of 4 October, HMAS Success had the honour and privilege to assist the Commander Australian Fleet (COMAUSFLT), RADM Tim Barrett, in hosting a welcome Reception for the International Fleet Review onboard the Royal Australian Navy Replenishment Ship.
